In 1989, Jack suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) which changed his life for good. The TBI blog examines recent news and research findings on this often poorly-understood subject.
Jack has had an enduring interest, both philosophical and ethical, in the question of when human life can be said to have begun. This blog tackles the controversial subject in hopes of finding common ground across a wide spectrum of theological, scientific, and ethical viewpoints.
Part memoir, part exposé, the section of sossisson.com devoted to what we call "Jack's Book" is not a blog in the traditional sense, but an ongoing source of dialogue on both TBI and the common problems of medical patients regardless of diagnosis.
